This Saturday, traffic is blocked on Estrada Nacional 262 (EN 262) in the municipality of Odemira, Beja district, due to a collision between two cars with two injuries, one of which is serious, Civil Protection reported.
A source from the Subregional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of Alentejo told Lusa that the alert for the incident, which occurred in the parish of Vale de Santiago in Bicos, was issued at 18:43 and that one of the victims was in a locked vehicle.
The relief operations involve 20 combatants, including firefighters, GNR soldiers and INEM units, supported by seven vehicles, including an Odemira SIV ambulance and an INEM helicopter.
