A 64-year-old woman was found dead at home with injuries late Thursday evening in Lesa do Balio, Matosinhos. Since there is a suspicion of a crime, the bailiff of Porto is investigating.
The warning was filed at the end of the day after the son, who works abroad, tried several times to contact his mother, but she did not answer. The victim’s friend went to the house where she lives and alerted the authorities. Upon arrival, the PSP and firefighters from S. Mamede de Infesta found the woman lying, with her hands behind her back and a wound on her head, in the hallway between the bathroom and the bedroom.
The house would be demolished. In connection with the presence of suspicions in the commission of a crime, the criminal investigation department of the PSP went to the scene, and the case was transferred to the SP.
After several investigations, the body was taken to the Legal Institute of Medicine of Porto at 00:55.
