Earlier Sunday evening, a 28-year-old woman was attacked by her 37-year-old partner in Mirandela.
The alarm was raised by the attacker himself, who came to the PSP police station to confess his deed. The victim, a Brazilian national, was found unconscious at home with a severe head injury. She was taken to the Mirandela hospital.
According to a source from the Terras de Tras os Montes Emergency Command and Civil Protection, the alarm was raised at 19:37 due to a situation of domestic violence, to which the firefighters of this locality, the PSP and the National Institute of Emergency Medicine rushed .
A Mirandela Firefighters source said the woman, unconscious and with multiple injuries to her face, was taken to a local hospital by ambulance ambulance (IVS) and could also be taken to Porto.
