Presenter Julie Chin of Oklahoma-based North American channel KJRH was rushed to the hospital after having difficulty reading a teleprompter and suffering living symptoms of a stroke.
Julie Chin was in the middle of a live broadcast when she became confused, admitting that she could not continue the broadcast. “Something is happening to me this morning and I apologize to everyone. We will continue with our meteorologist Annie Brown,” Julie said in a video published on the website of the British newspaper Independent.
On Facebook, the presenter thanked her colleagues, who realized the emergency and immediately called an ambulance. He also wrote that “there are still many questions and some exams to pass, but everything should be fine at first.”
The journalist says she felt “great” before the broadcast and that the episode “seemed to come out of nowhere” and advised people to learn more about the symptoms of a stroke.
