Two more bodies were discovered this Sunday on a beach in Calabria, southern Italy, two weeks after a migrant boat sank in Cutro, bringing the death toll to 78, with 25 still missing.
Two bodies, a child and a man, were found off the coast of Prayalonga, a few kilometers north of the shipwreck at Steccato di Cutro, when a ship with about 200 migrants on board sank.
The child was found swimming near the beach, and the man’s body was already lying dead in the sand.
This Sunday, a video was released showing Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Italian Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini singing karaoke during the funeral of some victims of the tragic shipwreck.
