Andrew Tate’s appeal against extending his prison sentence by 30 days was rejected by a Bucharest court on Tuesday. The influencer was arrested last December on suspicion of rape and human trafficking.
According to sky newsa spokesman for Tate said he was “disappointed” with the decision and said he would appeal within the next 48 hours.
Old kickboxer he was arrested on December 29 along with his brother as part of a police investigation. Romanian authorities suspect both are involved in an organized crime scheme. Romanian police have identified six women who were allegedly sexually exploited and forced to participate in pornographic content.
36-year-old Tate became famous for her misogynistic comments and hate speech. He was initially detained in December on charges of being a member of an organized crime group.
