The Judicial Police spent all of Tuesday at the Town Planning Service of the Chamber of Torres Novas (Santarem) in a process involving two municipal officials and an external designer, a source in the municipality said.
A source told Lusa that inspectors requested access to computers and took away documents, while two employees were taken away for questioning.
He added that the situations in question are related to possible favoritism and will occur in 2017/2018.
Contacting Luza, Torres Novas Mayor Pedro Ferreira (PS) limited himself to confirming PJ’s presence at the city planning office on Tuesday, emphasizing that the target was not elected officials, but municipal officials.
