The Chinese Communist Party’s official newspaper on Tuesday pointed to Sino-Russian ties as a “living example of the success” of a new type of international relationship that “avoids forming alliances or confrontations” with third parties.
An editorial in the Global Times, an English-language newspaper owned by the People’s Daily group, the central organ of the Chinese Communist Party, highlights the “tremendous value” of the relationship between Beijing and Moscow, given the “opposition between blocs.” and “a new cold war storm caused by the United States.”
Sino-Russian relations “completely transcend” “small cliques formed by ideological divisions and groups of Western countries” and “go beyond the old paradigms of power-sharing, exchange of interests, and relations between dominance and subjugation.”
