Pilots this Thursday approved an Easter strike from April 7 to 10 to pressure the government to ratify an agreement signed with TAP that restores working conditions canceled in 2021, the Pilots’ Union (SPAC) announced.
The strike was approved tonight at the pilots’ meeting as “the custodial is not committed to securing this agreement with the new management” of TAP, a Civil Aviation Pilots’ Union (SPAC) source told Lusa. the current CEO of TAP at the end of this month and the arrival of a new executive president, Luis Rodriguez, after mid-April.
“Until the government ratifies this proposal, we will continue to strike,” a SPAc board source explained, insisting that “there is not enough tutelage to approve” the proposal agreed between TAP, whose presidency will change, and SPAC.
