The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, has already reacted to the “criminal act” at the Ismaili Center in Lisbon, which killed two women and wounded a man.
Marcelo expressed his condolences to the representative of the Ismaili Imamate in Lisbon, Nazim Ahmad, as well as Prince Aga Kan and the families of the victims.
The President of the Republic guarantees that he is following the situation in contact with the Government and emphasizes that “the first signs point to a single act.”
Recall that a man armed with a knife entered the Ismaelita center in Lisbon and killed two Portuguese women. The teacher of the Center was also stabbed in the neck and is in serious condition. The attacker was shot dead by police and is in the hospital.
