Passengers on the flight Ryanair from Bucharest, Romania, bound for London, England, they panicked when the cabin filled with smoke mid-flight.
In accordance with IndependentA few minutes later, the pilot made an emergency landing and returned to Otopeni Airport in Bucharest.
A Ryanair believes the smoke may have been caused by de-icing liquid entering the air conditioning system, writes a British newspaper.
The flight, which was originally scheduled for 6:40 am, took off only four hours later due to a problem with the first plane. There were 169 passengers and four crew members on board.
After the smoking incident Ryanair prepared a third plane to make the trip, but according to Independentthere were passengers refusing to board again.
An investigation has already been launched to determine the origin of the smoke.
