The premiere of the program “Noite das Estrelas” on CMTV attracted more viewers than channel 1 on RTP. In its schedule, the format presented by Maya and Rui Oliveira recorded an average audience of 70,500 viewers, corresponding to a share of 4.4%. At the time, RTP1 had an average of just over 50,000 viewers, equivalent to a 3.1% share.
In addition to outperforming RTP channel 1, “Noite das Estrelas” was the leader in cable television, surpassing both CNN and SIC Notícias.
At the same time that Teresa Guilherme, Daniel Nascimento, Adriano Martins and Quintino Aires are on the program as commentators, CNN aired “Meia Noite” with a 4% share, while SIC Notícias with “Jornal da Meia Noite” recorded a share of 1.5%.
On the same day, CMTV again led the way in cable television with an average share of 5.6%. CMTV had more audience than its competitors combined, with CNN having 2.7% and Sic noticias 2.3%.
CMTV has been in the lead for 310 days without a break. It airs on Channel 8 on all cable platforms, but not yet on DTT.
