João Galamba, Minister of Infrastructure, denied that he withheld information from the TAP commission of inquiry.
“The Minister of Infrastructure categorically denies any allegation that he has in any way attempted to condition or omit information provided to the TAP Parliamentary Inquiry Committee,” the minister’s office said in a statement this Friday.
The politician emphasizes that all the documentation requested by the CPI was provided in full.
The minister was accused by his former deputy, Federico Pinheiro, of an “angry reaction” when faced with the opportunity to reveal notes from the TAP preparatory meeting that took place in January.
Galamba took the opportunity to clear up the controversy, stating that Federico Pinheiro had been sacked for “repeatedly denying the existence of meeting minutes requested by a parliamentary committee of inquiry”.
