CMTV was the leading station on the day that President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa spoke to the country, and even increased its lead over all competitors.
Correio da Manhã TV’s average daily share was 4.8%, much more than CNN, which dropped to 3.5%, and SIC Notícias (2.8%).
After Marcelo’s address to the country, a panel consisting of Santana López, Marcos Perestrelo, Luis Campos Ferreira, Camilo Lourenço, Francisco J. Viegas and João Pereira Coutinho was in charge of political commentary.
CMTV has been the leader in the national information market for 13 consecutive months and has won every day for 334 consecutive days.
It airs on Channel 8 on all cable platforms, but not yet on DTT.
GFK is responsible for the results.
