The Justice Department denied on Tuesday that the “temporary unavailability” of justice information and telephone services is due to the introduction of a new electronic case distribution model.
“There was a brief outage of less than 20 minutes (between 2:05 pm and 2:23 pm) in access to IT and Justice phone services due to a hardware issue. Media, this interruption is not related to development work to provide a new model for electronic distribution of processes,” the Justice Department (DOJ) said in a note released on Tuesday.
Denying any connection to the new model of the electronic drawing process, the MOJ further clarified that “the normal operation of all systems has already been restored after the upgrade of said equipment included in the upgrade and strengthening of the entire communications network infrastructure. Justice, which is currently ongoing, is supported by means from the Plan for Restoring Equity and Resilience (PRR).”
