Lula da Silva has previously mourned the singer’s death via social media.
“Rita Lee Jones is one of the biggest and brightest names in Brazilian music. Singer, songwriter, actress and multi-instrumentalist. An artist ahead of her time. pays tribute to her with her trajectory,” he wrote.
