Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted this Thursday in an interview with the BBC that Ukraine is not ready for an offensive against Russia.
“We must wait. We still need more time,” he said.
According to the President of Ukraine, the armed forces of the belligerent country are waiting for the military support promised by other countries.
“With what we have, we can move forward and I think we can do it. But we will lose a lot of people, and this is unacceptable,” he added.
Faced with the possibility of Ukraine losing the support of the United States of America if Joe Biden is not re-elected in 2024, Zelenskiy has depreciated and pointed to a still uncertain future. “Who knows where we’ll be by then?” – he asked.
