For teachers, the country is divided into ten “Pedagogical Zones” when it is necessary to compete in order to teach, and Pedagogical Zone 1 (QZP 1) has the most vacancies, with 3,204 places in the region between Viana do Castelo. and Porto.
According to a dispatch signed by the Minister of Education and the Minister of Finance.
Based on national data, Cycle 1 teachers (1524 vacancies) and Portuguese teachers (639 vacancies) are in the highest demand, followed by PE (552 vacancies) and Special Education 1 (533 vacancies).

This week, Joao Costa recalled that about 20,000 teachers have been hired, of which more than 10,000 meet the conditions that must be hired now.
In addition to the 8,000 who will be able to join the state through the dynamic linking competition, another 2,000 will be linked using what is called the “stop rule.”
