Jair Bolsonaro’s Liberal Party is preparing an amnesty bill if Brazil’s former president is declared ineligible this Thursday for eight years by a decision by the Supreme Electoral Court.
The bill, introduced by Federal MP Sanderson, targets “election-related civil tort cases, such as the trial of Jair Bolsonaro.”
