A 69-year-old woman stole a mobile phone from another passenger at Lisbon airport and he missed his flight while waiting for the completion of a police investigation into the incident on Tuesday.
The PSP received a warning from the passenger himself. He intercepted the suspect and confiscated her mobile phone, worth €1,450, which she had embezzled during security procedures.
Because the item was discovered, the passenger did not want to file a complaint against the woman. However, while waiting for arrangements, he missed the flight and saw the airline mention that they would not reschedule the trip without buying a new boarding pass.
The passenger wants to initiate a criminal case on the fact of what happened.
