At least two people were killed and 47 others were buried this Monday in a landslide in southwest China’s mountainous Yunnan province, forcing the evacuation of 200 residents.
The crash occurred shortly before 6:00 am (10:00 pm on Sunday in Lisbon) in the village of Lianshui, which is under the administration of the city of Tanfan.
More than 200 soldiers have already been deployed for rescue operations, which continue after more than two hundred people were evacuated from the area.
Although two people “without signs of life” have already been found among those buried, the information released by official sources until 13:30 (5:30 a.m. Lisbon time) still does not take into account the number of wounded or survivors.
