During Trump’s surprise appearance at the event, the former president gave a speech lasting about 10 minutes, appearing next to a pair of Trump-branded gold sneakers.
The star of the collection is the gold ankle boot called “Never Surrender”, which costs around $399 (about €370) and is part of a limited edition collection.
“I just want to tell you that I have wanted to do this for a long time. I have great people who work with me on different things, and they came up with this,” Trump said. “I’ve been talking about this for 12 years and I think it will be a huge success,” he adds.
The former president also mentioned that “influencers” were “very positive” about the new shoes being created by CIC Ventures, the same company that produced Trump’s business cards.
