The decision states that the accused and his partner lived together since 2003, from this relationship they have a daughter.

Among other things, the decision stated that on March 31, 2023, a woman who was in the room with the defendant “called her daughter asking for help” and told her that “the defendant wanted to kill her.” .
After his daughter entered the room, the defendant, a foreigner, pushed her “with force, causing her to fall onto the bed, breaking it,” and punched the woman in the face, killing the daughter’s nephew and allowing the victims to take refuge in another room.

The woman contacted PSP, who sent three agents to the scene, and the accused went to the kitchen to get two knives.
Police ordered the man to come out and drop the knives, but he “not only did not comply with the order by remaining in the house, but also told officers that he would kill them if they entered,” the deputy said.
When he left the house, the defendant held “a knife in each hand” towards the officers, and one of the officers used pepper spray to subdue him.
