“Europe is changing and Portugal will be a beacon of this shift to the right.” This is according to Andre Ventura, who is participating in Madrid this weekend at a global meeting of right-wing nationalist leaders promoted by Santiago Abascal, president of Vox, under the slogan “Europa Viva 2024.”
In addition to Andre Ventura, the event will include figures such as Javier Miley, President of Argentina, and Marine Le Pen, representative of the National Union and former candidate for the French presidency.
Interventions are also being planned via video conference by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
“The great struggle of the European right must be based on the fight against corruption and illegal immigration,” says President Chegi, adding that this will be the motto of his speech at a meeting of nationalist leaders in the Spanish capital this weekend.
The meeting “in defense of sovereignty and conservative values” is taking place at the Vistalegre Palace, with three weeks left before the European elections.
