This Thursday, a father was reunited with his one and a half year old son, who was lost in a Syrian hospital after being pulled from the rubble of the house they shared in Azaz, Syria.
According to Reuters, the boy Ibrahim was found by a man, Atef Nahnukh, who posted a video of the child eating a banana on social media in the hope that his parents could find him.
Ibrahim’s father saw the video and Atef Nanoukh took the child to meet the parent.
“We took care of him. We had to give people time, maybe his mother or father was still alive,” Nahnukh explained.
Ibrahim’s father received his son in tears, having lost his wife and daughter and not knowing the whereabouts of his other son.
