This Sunday, Russia condemned any violence in the context of the political struggle over the assassination attempt on Donald Trump and believed that the current US government created the atmosphere that led to the attack.
“Russia has always condemned and we strongly condemn any manifestation of violence in political struggle,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Russian media, expressing condolences to the family of the man killed in the attack and wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured.
Former US President and presidential candidate Donald Trump was shot in the ear during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday evening.
