Princezito will give a concert this Friday at B.Leza. The singer was born in Tarrafal, Santiago Island in Cape Verde. For several years he lived in Cuba, where there is a lot of cultural diversity, and soon realized that traditional music can coexist with more modern rhythms.
In Cape Verde he worked on the “Batuku” rhythm and the popular “Finason” poetry. In 2008 he released the album “Spiga” and has continued to compose ever since, either for his singles or collaborating with various artists. Among them are his brother Mario Lucio, as well as Sara Tavares, Nancy Vieira, Loreta, Maira Andrade or Dino D’Santiago in the recent song “Voei de Mim”.
At the concert on the 24th of this month, the audience will hear the drumming that Princezito has developed throughout his creative career.
