On Sunday afternoon, a woman was seriously injured in a collision between two cars on Highway 25 in the municipality of Viseu, a source from the Sub-Regional Command of Viseu Dao Lafoins told Lusa news agency.
According to the same source, it was a collision at 86.4 kilometers in the Teivas area in the direction of Viseu/Aveiro, which occurred at 17:02, in which, in addition to a seriously injured person, seven other people were injured, all minors. .
Four of the victims were treated on the spot, they refused hospitalization.
The A25 motorway was temporarily prepared for rescue operations, which involved 19 operators and nine vehicles from the National Institute of Emergency Medicine, firefighters and volunteers of Zapadores de Viseu from Viseu, Mangualde and Oliveira de Frades, the GNR Road Brigade and road concessionaire.
A seriously wounded man who was imprisoned and three others lightly wounded were taken to a hospital in Viseu.
