The Dane has refused to shave her eyebrows and upper lip since March 2020 because they help her “eliminate potential love interests” despite people claiming to be stared at and leaving “violent comments”.
Eldina Jaganjak, 31, from Copenhagen, Denmark, said that while some men, especially teenagers, look at their eyebrows as a “third head,” they get more positive attention than when they shave their hair. The woman said daily mail that she does not feel less feminine, and the decision to stand out in society gave her more self-confidence.
Eldina grew up in a small town where everyone had to fit in, but became increasingly frustrated that women had to spend more time and money maintaining their looks with a shave than men.
“If a man doesn’t shave or pluck his eyebrows, no one notices or comments, it’s not unusual,” the woman told the Daily Mail. “Like many other women, I learned to control myself. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the house unless I had my eyebrows plucked, I didn’t go to the gym until I shaved my legs, ”added the woman, who admitted that she stopped worrying about what others thought of her.
