Three people, two of whom are children, were injured this Monday in a traffic accident on National Road 3 (EN3) in Barreira Alva, in the municipality of Torres Novas (Santarém), a civil protection source told Lusa.
Two minors were injured, one in serious condition and the other with minor injuries, according to the Middle Tejo Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command.
According to him, the car, in which there were two adults and two children, skidded, and then there was a collision, the alarm was received at 8:19 in the morning.
There were 15 operators and six vehicles from the Torres Novas Volunteer Fire Department and Middle Tejo Hospital Center (emergency vehicle and emergency and resuscitation medical vehicle).
According to the source, the victims were taken to the Torres Novas department of the Centro Hospitalar do Médio Tejo.
