Two soldiers from GNR Ponte de Lima were injured late this Sunday morning in a collision while on an emergency march due to a tractor accident that occurred in the same municipality.
Two soldiers, a 35-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, were slightly injured. As a result of the accident, a third person was injured, who was in another car that had an accident. Three victims, all with minor injuries, were taken by the Ponte de Lima fire brigade to the Viana do Castelo hospital.
The accident occurred at 11:44 am on Via Foral D. Manuel in Arcoselo, causing the GNR’s car to break down. The circumstances of the accident, which have yet to be established, are being investigated by the GNR road brigade in Viana do Castelo.
