An unaccompanied STCP tram drove along the banks of the Douro River in Porto for about a kilometer. It happened this Sunday morning between workshops at the Electric Vehicle Museum and only stopped after crossing the deck of the Arrábida Bridge.
STCP has already confirmed the situation and refers to the fact that an investigation has been launched. He explains that the car was not in use and there were no passengers inside.
The moment when the train continued uncontrollably, always on the tracks, was filmed by a driver who drove along Rua do Ouro, parallel to the tram line, and noticed that there was no driver inside the vehicle.
As a result of the incident, STCP confirms, there are minor injuries. This is a repairman who was in the workshops of the museum and was forced to jump out of the car when it started moving.
The sappers went to the scene, but in the end, INEM took the victim to the hospital.
