This Saturday, three people were injured, one seriously, when a passenger car skidded on the Northern Highway (A1) near Fatima, a civil protection source said.
A source from the sub-regional emergency and civil protection department of the Middle Tagus told Lusa that the accident occurred in a south-north direction at km 121/122, near Fatima, in the municipality of Ourén.
According to the same source, “there are three injured, one of which is a child who has already been taken by ambulance to the hospital in Leiria.”
According to information collected at 12:00, two other victims are in custody, one has already been released, and firefighters are dealing with the second.
The same source also explained that they do not yet have data on the severity of the two wounded at the scene, where 20 operational and 9 ground vehicles went after the alarm was raised at 11:20.
